The location of the hotel was unbeatable, just a pleasant stroll away from a war memorial. We were close enough to southern Illinois and Golconda. Enjoyed having a safe, cable TV with on-demand movies, and a microwave oven in the room.

Booked the hotel for its ideal and marvellous location not far from the river, several wineries on the Shawnee Wine Trail and The Port of Golconda. The food at the attached restaurant was outstanding.

The room was big, beautiful, and had essential amenities like a shower, hair dryers, and a spa bathtub. the staff were really helpful and friendly, always ready to assist. the location was perfect, just a 10-15 minute walk from a large park. Having an attached restaurant was a great bonus too!.

We loved staying at this hotel. The dinner was amazing, with a wonderful menu to choose from. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was comfortable. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the cleanliness of the rooms was impressive. The location was perfect, within walking distance to great breakfast spots and close to shopping areas where we found beautiful gifts. Additionally, the hotel had a lovely outdoor patio, which would have been a great place to relax if it had been open.

My friends and I planned a weekend getaway to Southern Illinois to explore the national forest, and our stay at Riverview Mansion was perfect! The historic architecture was breathtaking, and the owners made us feel right at home. The Levee Lounge had an amazing selection of local beverages, and we had a great time chatting with the owners over drinks. The room was cozy and comfortable, and we were even allowed to use another guest's shower since our room didn't have one. a fantastic experience!
